“The time has come to propel District 65 into the 21st

century way of life.”

G R

Dr. Gordon W. Rolle Jr.

Georgia House of Representatives District 65 Candidate for Fairburn, Union City, City of Palmetto, City of Chattahoochee Hills, Unincorporated Fulton County, Serenbe and Holly Springs.

District 65 makes the TOP FIVE LIST for the State of Georgia in failing schools, crime, poverty and divorce.

Safe Communities: I will continue building collaborative such as the Fulton County Citizens Police Academy graduates to assist with creating healthy communities, free from crime and the influence of violent crimes. In addition, building relationships between the community and the Police, Sheriff and other law enforcement agencies to encourage 21st Century Community Policing for a Safer Environment. Working collaboratively with the Citizen Reentry programs that assist with the adjustment of adjudicated populations to successfully transcend into the community and lessen the rate of recidivism.

Effective Education Programs: ALL children deserve an education. Every statistic shows that low crime rates and high graduation rates are key to attract high tech or quality industries. I am a strong advocate for technical education programs to provide students with the skills needed to attract and satisfy high skilled businesses. Career development, apprenticeships and job placement programs implemented within secondary education will provide effective schools and increase our economic development.

Economic development: I will work with Colleges, Universities and local training programs to offer opportunities to retrain the underemployed and unemployed to fill the jobs that will that provide higher standard of living and increase our Economic Development.  I would work with the displaced workers and citizen reentry program providers to partner with industry relative to the local businesses, such as aviation, motion picture industry and local businesses to provide opportunities for at risk populations to reconnect to society and lead functional lives.  When it comes to the ecology, with establishment of the green concept, construction of home developments, business, hospitals, utility conservation and energy usage, I believe the time has come to propel District 65 into the 21st century way of life.

Change: I am not your STATUS QUO! I take this position very serious. I have the skills and personality to reach out to everyone and anyone at the State House to get legislation pass. District 65 Deserves Someone That Is Not Complacent and Someone That You Can Hold ACCOUNTABLE. The residents in District 65 deserve a State Representative that will be visible in the District to listen to and talk about issues and concerns, and be PRESENT to represent you at ALL LEGISLATIVE SESSIONS. I will file legislation and fight to get it pass to support District 65 initiatives as necessary.

Your Vote for me WILL make a difference in improving the status of District 65.

Sidewalks should be developed in areas adjacent to school zones to allow our children, disable citizens as well as the general population to walk safely to and from school, shopping and local businesses.
